Volunteering is good for the soul (and the community!)

By Chloe (SWC)

How time flies! We're already half-way through the semester. What better way to take a break from studying, than experiencing something new and being rewarded for it? We're talking about volunteering of course! This blog post is all about the benefits of volunteering and even gives some opportunities for those of you who are keen. Take 5 minutes to read through, and maybe, just maybe, we may have struck something inside of you to give it a go.

Benefits of volunteering?

  • Personal growth

  • Meet new friends and make new connections

  • Perfect way to destress

  • Particularly if you've been stuck studying

  • Improve social skills and self-esteem

  • Experience for your resume and CV!

  • Gives a sense of purpose

Keen to start immediately? Have a look at these opportunities!

Yours truly!
