Affirmations, Encouragement and Self-Reflection

It’s exam season and, therefore, a time of the semester that we tend to neglect ourselves of a little self-love. Consciously reminding ourselves of the people and things in our life that bring us joy is something to prioritise, especially during stressful times like these. Starting your day with a bit of positivity, hope and kindness by reading these affirmations is a small act that we hope will positively influence your mood for the rest of the day.




Also, we have prepared seven self-reflection prompts to write at your leisure throughout the week. Just as you are focusing all of your brain power on remembering case law, legislation and what on earth the mens rea of the crime is, take some time off studying to bring the focus back on yourself. Whether that be the first thing in the morning, during your exercise routine or when you’re in the bathroom (yes, on the toilet to be exact), remember to take care of yourself! If writing isn't your thing, that's okay. Even a simple thought goes a long way in focusing on the important things (hint hint, that's you). Good luck with your exams!
